In a recent statement made in Chennai, tamil Nadu minister Anbil Mahesh Poyyamozhi strongly criticized the Union bjp government, alleging that it has failed not only in domestic governance but also in handling India’s foreign policy effectively.

Concerns Over Foreign Policy

Minister Anbil Mahesh pointed out that India’s foreign relations have not yielded the expected benefits in recent times. He argued that the central government’s diplomatic strategies have not adequately safeguarded the country’s economic and strategic interests. According to him, a strong foreign policy should ensure stability in essential sectors, including energy and trade, which he claims is currently lacking.

Gas Shortage Issue Raises Questions

The minister also raised concerns about the ongoing gas shortage problem. He questioned whether the Union government has been efficient in addressing this critical issue. The shortage has affected industries and households, leading to economic strain and public inconvenience.

He emphadata-sized that managing energy resources is a crucial responsibility of the central government, and any lapse in this area reflects poor planning and execution.

Debate Over Governance and Accountability

Anbil Mahesh further stated that there is a growing concern among the public regarding the Union government’s approach to governance. He stressed that citizens are increasingly questioning whether their rights and basic needs are being prioritized.

According to him, transparency, accountability, and proactive decision-making are essential qualities for effective governance, which he believes are currently insufficient.

Call for Focus on Citizens’ Rights

The minister concluded by emphasizing that the government must prioritize the rights and welfare of the people. He urged the Union administration to take immediate corrective measures to address both foreign policy challenges and domestic issues like energy shortages.
