Chief Minister M.K. Stalin Receives Warm Welcome at Pongal Celebration in Kolathur

Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin received a warm and enthusiastic welcome from students and members of the public while attending a Pongal celebration yesterday near the Jawahar Nagar, Kolathur assembly office. The event saw a vibrant turnout, reflecting the community’s excitement to greet the state leader during the festive occasion.

Students from Anitha Achievers Academy extended their heartfelt greetings, participating actively in the celebrations and presenting traditional respects to the Chief Minister. Residents of the area also joined in large numbers, adding to the festive atmosphere and showing their appreciation for the Chief Minister’s presence.

Accompanying the chief minister was Mrs. Durga Stalin, who also interacted with the students and members of the public, sharing in the joy of the pongal festivities. The celebration included traditional rituals, cultural performances, and interactions that highlighted community engagement and festive spirit.

This event reinforced the tamil Nadu government’s efforts to maintain close ties with citizens and promote cultural traditions during important festivals like pongal, emphasizing both social inclusion and public participation in state-led events.
