Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. stalin has said that people in the state are saving nearly ₹4,000 every month due to four key welfare schemes implemented by the government. Speaking at a public event, the chief minister highlighted how these initiatives have helped reduce the financial burden on ordinary families and improved their quality of life.

Stalin explained that the schemes focus on essential needs such as education, transportation, healthcare, and basic household expenses. By ensuring free or subsidized access to these services, the government has been able to put more money directly into the hands of the people, particularly those from middle- and lower-income groups.

He pointed out that measures such as free bus travel for women, free education-related benefits for students, subsidized healthcare services in government hospitals, and other social welfare programs together contribute to significant monthly savings for households. According to the chief minister, these policies are designed not just as temporary relief but as long-term investments in social equality and economic stability.

The chief minister also stressed that the Dravidian Model of governance aims to reduce everyday expenses rather than offering one-time assistance. By lowering recurring costs, the government ensures sustained financial relief and empowers families to spend more on nutrition, education, and personal development.

Stalin said the impact of these schemes is visible across urban and rural areas, with beneficiaries acknowledging the positive change in their daily lives. He added that the government continuously reviews welfare programs to ensure they are effectively implemented and reach the intended beneficiaries.

Responding to criticism from the opposition, stalin said the success of these schemes proves that people-centric policies deliver real results. He urged critics to look at the lived experiences of beneficiaries rather than engaging in political rhetoric.

Concluding his speech, the chief minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to inclusive development and said more initiatives aimed at easing the cost of living would be introduced in the future. He emphadata-sized that the ultimate goal of the government is to ensure dignity, security, and economic relief for every household in tamil Nadu.
