Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) Member of parliament Kanimozhi called upon the people to remember and celebrate the life, ideals, and enduring legacy of Professor K. Anbazhagan on the occasion of his birth anniversary. In her message, she described him as an outstanding scholar, principled politician, and a towering intellectual who played a vital role in shaping modern tamil Nadu.

Kanimozhi mp said that professor Anbazhagan’s contributions went far beyond politics. He was a lifelong champion of social justice, rationalist thought, and equality, and his commitment to these ideals remained unwavering throughout his public life. She noted that his clarity of thought, moral integrity, and deep respect for democratic values earned him admiration across political and ideological boundaries.

Highlighting his role as a senior leader of the DMK and a former Finance minister of tamil Nadu, kanimozhi recalled that professor Anbazhagan presented several budgets that prioritized the welfare of the marginalized, the expansion of education, and inclusive economic growth.
