Tamil Nadu chief minister M.K. Stalin delivered a strong political rebuttal to Union home minister Amit Shah, asserting that no ideological force, including the Sangh Parivar, can influence or control tamil Nadu. His statement came in response to recent remarks and political moves by bjp leaders, which stalin described as attempts to interfere in the state’s political and cultural autonomy.

Addressing a public gathering, the chief minister said that tamil Nadu has a long tradition of resisting authoritarianism, communal politics, and cultural imposition. He stressed that the people of the state are deeply rooted in the principles of the Dravidian movement, which champions social justice, self-respect, rationalism, and equality. “Even if an entire Sangh brigade comes here, they cannot do anything to tamil Nadu,” stalin declared, drawing loud applause from supporters.

Stalin accused the bjp and its ideological affiliates of trying to polarize society along religious lines and weaken the federal structure of the country. He said such strategies may work in some parts of india but have consistently failed in tamil Nadu, where voters have repeatedly rejected divisive politics and upheld secular, inclusive values.

The chief minister also criticized the Union government for allegedly attempting to impose policies related to language, education, and culture without consulting the states. He reaffirmed that his government would firmly oppose any move that undermines tamil Nadu’s linguistic pride or constitutional rights. According to stalin, federalism is not a concession from the Centre but a foundational principle of indian democracy.

Highlighting his government’s performance, stalin said the DMK administration has focused on welfare schemes, economic development, women’s empowerment, and social equality, which have earned the trust of the people. He added that attempts to destabilize the state politically would not succeed as long as the people remain united and vigilant.

Political observers see Stalin’s remarks as part of a broader effort to counter the BJP’s growing presence in southern India and reinforce the DMK’s ideological position. By directly addressing amit shah, stalin positioned himself as a strong defender of tamil Nadu’s rights and identity on the national stage.
