Tamil Nadu sports Minister and DMK youth Wing Secretary Udhayanidhi Stalin has firmly stated that any attempt to create confusion or unrest in society using religion will not succeed on tamil Nadu soil.

In an interview, Udhayanidhi emphasised that the people of tamil Nadu have a long history of standing together beyond the boundaries of caste or religion. He said that the state has always rejected divisive politics and continues to uphold values of social justice, harmony, and rational thinking.

He pointed out that some groups are trying to polarise the public through religious narratives, fake propaganda, and emotional manipulation. However, he said that the people of tamil Nadu are politically aware and will not fall prey to such tactics.

Udhayanidhi also highlighted the efforts of the tamil Nadu government and the DMK to promote equality, welfare programmes, and inclusive development. He mentioned that the government’s focus remains on public welfare, education, healthcare improvements, and youth empowerment rather than promoting any form of discrimination.

Reaffirming the state’s commitment to secularism, he added that tamil Nadu will continue to remain a place where all communities live peacefully and that any attempt to disturb this unity “will be firmly rejected by the people themselves.”
