Cancer ‘Cured’ by Prayer? How Faith Healers Are Mocking Medicine in India

SIBY JEYYA

A woman goes on telugu TV claiming cancer vanished because a pastor prayed. Her son, too, she says, was “healed” by prayer. media microphones surround her, nodding, recording, amplifying — not one journalist demanding medical proof. Not one cop stepped in. Not one politician is questioning the fraud. And the indian Medical Association? Silent.

The same IMA that screamed when baba Ramdev mocked allopathy suddenly finds its tongue tied. Why? Because hypocrisy runs deeper than religion. Because pseudoscience, whether packaged as ayurveda or prayer healing, is the same disease — exploiting ignorance, feeding cults, and mocking real medicine.

1. “Cured by Prayer” = Public Fraud
Cancer doesn’t vanish with a pastor’s hand. Illness doesn’t disappear with chants. These are lies, and lies cost lives.

2. media = Partner in Crime
Telugu channels had mics shoved in her data-face — not one journalist asked for medical reports. No proof, no follow-up, just TRP circus.

3. police = Missing in Action
Faith healing undercuts public health. It’s a criminal act of medical fraud. Yet cops act like it’s bhajan night, not fraud night.

4. IMA = Selective Warrior
Last year, IMA roared at baba Ramdev. Today? Dead silence. Why? Because fraud wrapped in Christian robes doesn’t fit their narrative. Hypocrisy, meet reality.

5. ayurveda ≠ Science, Prayer ≠ Medicine
Both are cults. Both are pseudoscience. Both insult evidence, research, and human intelligence. One hides behind Sanskrit, the other behind scripture. Same poison, different bottle.

6. MBBS Kids, Don’t Be Clowns
Future doctors tagging, trolling, and communalising instead of studying? Congratulations — you’re on your way to becoming quacks with MBBS degrees. Grow up.

7. Science Doesn’t Care About Your Religion
Whether saffron, white, or black robes — if you peddle pseudoscience, you’re a fraud. Science doesn’t bow to gods, godmen, or your hurt sentiments.

8. Frogs in the Well Syndrome
Your society told you ayurveda is divine, prayer heals, and culture > evidence. You swallowed it. You became frogs croaking in the same filthy well. Step out. Grow brains.

👉 Bottom line: Prayer is not chemotherapy. ayurveda is not medicine. Fraud is fraud whether it chants mantras, quotes the Bible, or sells herbal powders. Stop worshipping pseudoscience. Start demanding evidence. Or stay frogs croaking in your cults, while science moves on without you.
