At the recent “Senatho Senani”
event in Visakhapatnam, Pawan Kalyan—the
deputy chief minister of
andhra pradesh and Jana Sena
party president—raised the
karnataka state flag alongside his own Jana Sena
party flag. This was meant as a gesture of solidarity with
karnataka, not a political endorsement. However, misleading
social media posts falsely claimed that he held Thalapathy Vijay’s TVK (Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam)
party flag—a completely unfounded narrative.
Pawan
kalyan and Vijay represent distinct political fronts. Pawan is allied with the
nda (via Jana Sena), while Vijay’s TVK openly opposes the BJP—making any flag crossover highly implausible. Earlier, Pawan had publicly congratulated Vijay on his political foray, showing mutual respect but no alliance.
In a show of political mentorship, Pawan advised Vijay to "stick around" in
politics despite inevitable turbulence—not to suggest any collaboration.
Notably, actor
prakash raj criticized both Pawan and Vijay for entering
politics mostly based on star power, questioning their long-term political vision.
pawan kalyan held Vijay’s TVK flag False – He actually held the
karnataka state flag with Jana Sena’s flag. Indicative of political alliance Misleading – No alliance; TVK and
nda are ideological opposites. The claim that
pawan kalyan held Vijay’s
party flag is a false narrative. The image has been manipulated or misinterpreted. In reality, it was a gesture supporting regional brotherhood—not politics. The story went viral due to miscaptioned visuals and sensationalism.
