Sanjay Bangar’s son aryan Bangar has now undergone gender reassignment surgery and has become transgender. He has changed his name to Anaya Bangar and has released a video showing a medical certificate stating that he is now eligible to play women’s cricket. This has created a stir in the indian cricket community. Sanjay Bangar is a former indian cricketer and former batting coach of the indian cricket team. His son aryan Bangar played for the mumbai team in the junior category. He has played with sarfaraz khan and yashasvi Jaiswal; he is also friends with them. Currently, he feels like a woman and is undergoing physical reassignment surgery for that.
Anaya Bangar further said that she has submitted this report to the bcci and ICC and that her intention is to start a discussion with this data and not to create fear. She said that she is trying to create a space for transgender people and not to divide what already exists. "Science says that I am fit to play women's cricket. The question now is whether the world will accept this truth," Anaya Bangar questioned in the video.
