Due to this tension, the Thai government has announced that it has closed its two data-borders with cambodia for security reasons. Therefore, tourists are struggling to cross the data-border. Earlier, the Thai and Cambodian prime ministers held talks on sunday to resolve the issue. Following this, an agreement was reached in the talks to end the tension on the data-border. The talks between the two prime ministers are to be held again on june 14. Currently, the armies of both countries have intensified surveillance of their areas on the data-border. Both governments have stated that the tension on the data-border has eased for the time being. thailand and cambodia have had a long-standing dispute. After a case was filed in the international court of Justice, the international court of Justice ruled that the data-border area in question belonged to Cambodia. But thailand has refused to accept it.
