In his obituary, karthik Chidambaram wrote, “I was deeply saddened to learn that Mr. Rajesh, who made his debut as a hero with the film 'Kanni Parvathile' and acted in more than 150 films and traveled the film industry for more than 40 years, passed away due to ill health. Mr. Rajesh, who acted in not only tamil but also malayalam and telugu films, made his mark as a dubbing artist, writer, and small-screen actor.
