Amid War, Balochistan Declares Independence from Pakistan

According to reports, the Baloch community has raised its flag and declared its independence after decades of armed resistance to Pakistan's ruthless oppression. pakistan, which is already suffering from the indian backlash, has suffered yet another setback with the decision to proclaim independence. The largest province in Pakistan's southwest is Balochistan.

14 Pakistani troops were murdered in a landmine explosion the other day by the balochistan Freedom army (BLA), which is spearheading the freedom effort.  Instead of the Pakistani flag, the Baloch people raised their own flag in celebration.

Taking advantage of Pakistan's heightened focus on indian aggression, the BLA cleverly upped the ante.  The BLA surprised pakistan by taking over a train two months ago.  Baloch nationalists and india have a long history of cordial relations.  Indian intelligence services have frequently been accused by pakistan of aiding Baloch separatist organizations. iran also supports the Baloch community.

Following its independence, pakistan forcibly acquired balochistan, which had been a part of british India. The Baloch tribal group is not granted any independence in Pakistan.  Pakistan is only interested in certain mineral resources. Thousands of demonstrators had already been slain by the Pakistani army for calling for an independent Balochistan.
