Should Pooja Hegde Do More De-Glam Roles?

SIBY JEYYA
For those who are familiar with Pooja's previous work, her move into this position is quite noteworthy.  Here, there's a noticeable change in both the type of persona she portrays and the extent to which she seems to live it.  We seem to be witnessing a new aspect of her. Her fluency in Tamil, her nuanced portrayal, and the overall tonal data-alignment with the film's emotional cadence all suggest that she is a dedicated artist.

Pooja manages it all with such ease, even though it's difficult to fully commit to the story, particularly in a movie that depends more on mood and emotion.  Unquestionably, a performance that feels more like presence than acting has a certain impact.  It's the kind of performance that gradually wins you over.  It remains.  It strikes a chord.  More than anything, it makes you eager to see what pooja Hegde's incredible lineup—Jana Nayagan, Coolie, and kanchana 4—will bring to the big screen next.

Pooja doesn't seem like an actress portraying a role from the first picture.  She has a presence that is both grounded and subtly radiant, and she is Ruku with ease and conviction.  She never feels even the slightest bit removed from the Rukku universe. This performance is notable for its profundity as much as its simplicity.
