11th Std Class Girl Expelled From School For Removing Pakistan Flag From Roads
After a video of a Class 11 student from Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh, trying to take down a Pakistani flag that was erected on a public road went viral, the student was expelled from her school. The flag was raised in protest of the pahalgam terror incident on april 22, which killed 26 civilians.
The girl, who lives in Bahadur Nagar, saw the Pakistani flag stuck on the road while she was riding her scooter home. According to reports, local organizations put up the flag as a symbolic protest, asking people to walk over it in retaliation against pakistan for the attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Rather, a bystander captured the child stopping and attempting to take down the flag. The 12-second video went viral very fast.
The girl's activity was soon condemned by local organizations as "anti-national" and an interference with a symbolic condemnation of terrorism. The school was visited by protesters who called for disciplinary action. As a result, the student was ejected from the school.
