Tata Motors' luxury car manufacturer Jaguar land rover (JLR) has decided to temporarily stop exporting cars manufactured in britain to the US. This was revealed by 'The Times' newspaper. The company is currently thinking about how to reduce the tariffs imposed by Trump. Jaguar land rover (JLR), one of the largest car manufacturers in britain, employs about 38,000 people in the country. The company is reportedly planning to stop exporting cars to the US for about a month as it looks for ways to mitigate the impact of Trump's tariffs on its business. However, the company has already exported enough cars to the US for the next two months.
 In the wake of Trump's tariffs, not only Jaguar land rover (JLR), but other leading car manufacturers have also started rethinking their future business strategies. In the 12 months to march 2024, Jaguar land rover sold 4.30 lakh vehicles globally, a quarter of which were sold in the US. This was also a major reason why Tata Motors shares fell immediately after Trump's tariff announcement. Financial services firms like JP Morgan have already warned that Trump's actions will lead to job losses in the US. Experts are concerned that imposing high tariffs on imports will burden consumers, leading to reduced sales and job losses. The temporary decision taken by Jaguar land rover shows how Trump's tariffs will affect international trade.
