The film 'L2 Empuraan' was released on march 27 last month. This film, produced in the Prithviraj-Mohanlal collaboration, reached a collection of around 200 crores in 4 days. It also became the highest-grossing malayalam film in a very short period of time. Meanwhile, after some scenes from Empuraan were caught in controversy, Mohan Lal not only apologized for it but also promised that some scenes would be removed from the film. Following this, 24 scenes were removed from the film and re-censored. This new version was released in theaters from the day before yesterday.
