She is capable of caring for herself in such a circumstance. A bench consisting of Justices Abhay S. Oka and Ujjwal Bhuyan declined to provide the woman with relief. As an associate professor, the lady had requested alimony from her husband.
In its brief ruling, the court stated that the husband and wife are both assistant professors. There is no justification for us to use our authority under Article 136 of the indian Constitution in such a circumstance. The petition for special leave is denied. The woman's plea for alimony was being heard by the supreme court bench.
