The tallest family in india, the Kulkarnis, is expected to break the global record for height. Sanjot, his wife, is 6 feet 2.6 inches tall, and Sharad Kulkarni, 52, is 7 feet 1.5 inches tall. Sanya, 16, and Mruga, 22, are their daughters, and they are both 6' 1" and 6' 4". The entire family is an incredible 26 feet tall. From the eastern city of Pune, the Kulkarnis dominate their fellow citizens.
Before this, Kulkarni and his spouse, who were married in 1989, were recognized as the tallest pair in india by the Limca Book of Records.  Before it was revealed that Stockton, california residents Wayne and Laurie Hallquist, who are 13 feet 4 inches tall together, were the tallest couple in the world, they had wanted to be listed in the Guinness Book of Records.

"We were a little disheartened," Kulkarni added.  When your life is so unusual, it's good to be recognized.  In the end, it has a purpose. However, we're thrilled about fresh opportunities.
The Struggles:
Mr. and Mrs. Kulkarni endured years of bullying and mockery as children. Mr. Kulkarni put all of his energy into sports after hitting 7 feet as a youth, and he eventually played basketball for his nation.  However, Mrs. Kulkarni found it difficult to blend in and remain unnoticed in the isolated indian village where she resided.

In india, it's difficult for a woman to be taller than a man, according to Kulkarni. Since men have more authority, I would never want to wed a tiny man only to have him made fun of for his wife.
Really, there was a good chance that I would never get married.

One evening in Mumbai, Kulkarni's grandmother approached Mr. Kulkarni as she was strolling along the street.  "This older lady came up to me and asked if I was married or single and if would I meet her granddaughter who was over 6ft," Mr. Kulkarni told Dailymail. My pals convinced me to take her number even though I initially hesitated to believe her.
A few weeks later, in accordance with indian custom, a meeting was arranged for the potential pair when Mr. Kulkarni's parents called the number.  'Many women have said they're 6ft, but when we meet they're just about 5ft 10ins and too little for me,' Mr. Kulkarni, a bank employee, told Dailymail. However, I was pleased to find Sanjot much over six feet when I first met her. I had faith in our happiness together.
December 1988 marked the couple's marriage.  They were named India's tallest married pair by the Limca Book of Records a year later.

All of the door frames of their house have been lifted from six to eight feet to accommodate their needs. They have altered the height of the toilet as well as the beds, closets, and kitchen shelves. However, they prefer scooters to public transportation. They seek a front seat or an emergency escape row when they must travel by plane.

Together with their two adult daughters, Mruga and Sanya, they now aspire to become the tallest family in the world.
