In a recent development, the united states issued a warning to American residents not to travel to the immediate area of the India-Pakistan data-border and the Line of Control because of terrorism. The country was classified as dangerous and advised to stay away from it.
 
But Pakistan's troubles don't seem to be over yet, as there are rumors that the US may be considering preventing Pakistanis from entering the country.  These are all the details you need to be aware of.
 

US administration planning to ban Pakistanis?

According to sources cited by news agency Reuters, a new prohibition under study could soon be implemented by the US administration under President Donald Trump.  People from pakistan and afghanistan may not be allowed to enter the united states under the travel restriction.
 
The new travel limitations may be put into effect within the next ten days, according to a credible source who was cited in a story by news agency IANS, which fueled more rumors.


"Afghanistan will be on the list of nations where a total travel prohibition is advised.  It would also be advised that Pakistan's name be included in the list.  According to the source cited in the report, "the resettlement of these Afghans is a compensation and commitment made to them during the Biden administration for working with the US during the 20-year war in Afghanistan."
 
 According to the IANS report, since the Afghan Taliban took control of the country in august 2021, at least 200,000 Afghans are waiting to be resettled in the United States.

On january 20, US President donald trump placed a 90-day block on refugee admissions and foreign aid that pays their flights, leaving at least 20,000 Afghans with Special Immigrant Visas to the US trapped in pakistan and facing repatriation to Afghanistan.
