On a Southwest aircraft, a woman stripped nude and spent twenty-five minutes walking up and down the aisle, causing the plane to return to its gate. On monday, the aircraft was on its route to Phoenix after taking off from Houston's William P. Hobby Airport. According to The Daily Mail, the woman woke up amid a flight and undressed in front of the horrified passengers.

Macy Estevez, a fellow traveler, said that the lady paraded for about 30 minutes until the police took her into custody.

The Houston police Department removed the woman to do her medical examinations.

Southwest airlines apologized to customers for the flight delays and released a statement regarding the situation.

"Local law enforcement met Flight 733 from Houston to Phoenix monday afternoon after it returned to the gate because of a customer situation onboard," said the statement.

"We've reached out to customers to apologize for the delay and appreciate their patience as our teams worked to get them to their destinations as quickly as possible," it said.

According to accounts, the woman even claimed to be bipolar and was requesting to be removed from the aircraft.

Before being arrested by the authorities, the lady allegedly attempted to access the cockpit, according to the passengers.

One traveler told the newspaper, "She turned around facing us and stripped all of her clothes off."

Before sprinting down the aisle, the woman could be seen yelling "wait, wait, wait" in one of the videos.

"After that, she continued to head back toward the front of the aircraft and began pounding on the cockpit doors while yelling for permission to enter.  "It was really frightening when it first happened," the traveler recalled.

One witness expressed amazement at how long it took for authorities to step in.  It was "very weird that nobody kind of intervened," the witness said.
