In honor of Eid, salman Khan's "Sikandar" is scheduled to open in theaters on march 28. Salman Khan plays Sanjay rajkot in the movie, a man who has broad public support locally and later data-faces up against a dishonest minister. Since so much about the film is still unknown, rumors have begun to circulate. Many are claiming that it is a remake of Thalapathy Vijay's "Sarkar," particularly in light of the uncanny parallels between Vijay's film and Sikandar's teaser.
In Sarkar, Vijay played a character that was very similar to that of an nri confronting a dishonest politician. The current fan frenzy can be explained by the fact that A.R. murugadoss helmed the 2018 release. The public does not appear to be believing the makers when they deny that Sikandar is a remake.
This mistrust is not unjustified. Shahid Kapoor's "Deva," in spite of numerous assertions to the contrary, was a perfect replica of the 2013 movie "Mumbai Police." The same was true of "Baby John," which was revealed to be a hindi remake of "Theri," betraying the public's trust. Only after Sikandar's march 28, 2025, silver screen debut can its originality—or lack thereof—be verified.
