The chennai high court has ordered the seizure of Nadigar Thilakam sivaji Ganesan's house in a case related to non-repayment of Rs 4 crores taken for the production of the film Jaga Jaala Killaadi. Dushyanth, grandson of sivaji Ganesan, was running a production company called Eesan Productions with his wife Abhirami as partners. Through that company, he produced the film Jaga Jaala Killaadi. vishnu vishal and nivetha pethuraj played the hero and heroine in the film. They have taken a loan of Rs. 3 crore 74 lakh 75 thousand from Dhanapakiyam Enterprise to make the film. Dushyant and his wife Abhirami have signed an agreement promising to repay this loan with 30 percent interest.
But since he did not repay the loan, the high court had already ordered to appoint retired madras high court judge Ravindran as a mediator to resolve the matter. Ravindran, who conducted the investigation on this order, ordered in May 2024 to hand over all the rights of the film Jagjala Killadi to Dhanapakiyam Enterprise in order to collect the loan amount of 9 crore 2 lakh 40 thousand rupees along with interest. When the production side requested to hand over all the rights of the film on the basis of that order, a case was filed in the high court on behalf of Dhanapakiyam Enterprise to auction and confiscate sivaji Ganesan's house as the film was not completed. When this petition came up for hearing, the judge ordered the confiscation of the house of Nadigar Thilakam sivaji Ganesan. Subsequently, the hearing of the case was adjourned to march 5.
