A 29-year-old US-educated man in hyderabad killed his industrialist grandfather over a dispute regarding property distribution, by stabbing him more than 70 times.According to authorities on Monday, Velamati Chandrasekhara Janardhana Rao, an 86-year-old industrialist from hyderabad, was fatally stabbed at his home by his grandson over a property dispute.
 
According to reports, a furious debate preceded the event. Rao, the chairman of Veljan Group, was allegedly approached by his 29-year-old grandson, Kilaru keerthi Teja, who claimed that the division of assets was unjust. According to reports, teja received Rs 4 crore as his portion of the family's estate.
 
He stabbed his granddad 70 times as the argument swiftly got out of hand. Sarojini Devi, Teja's mother, attempted to step in during the fight but was hurt. She is presently undergoing treatment after being taken to a hospital in an emergency.


After earning his master's degree in the United States, teja had just returned to hyderabad and was with his mother at Rao's house when the altercation and assault took place.
 
Teja has been taken into custody, and an inquiry is being conducted.
