One of Bollywood's most dependable actors, akshay kumar consistently produces a number of films year and effortlessly delivers box office successes. However, he hasn't had a good few years. His flicks, ranging from "Bachchan Paandey" and "Samrat Prithviraj" to "Selfiee" and "Mission Ranigunj," have had trouble at the box office.

Even "Sky Force," which had a strong start, failed to hold up and is now seen by trade analysts as another failure. The buzz is increased by the selling of his expensive Worli apartment for a hefty Rs 80 crores, and the tension seems to be getting worse. Was this a standard investment or a blatant sign that his finances are suffering as a result of the run of failures?

It is difficult to pinpoint exactly what is preventing him from functioning. Is it the releases that are over-saturated? Scripts? The shifting tastes of viewers? Akshay definitely needs a strong return, no matter what. He had already accomplished this by making a comeback with films like "Sooryavanshi." It's not impossible. But bollywood is changing quickly, so he could try something else if he wants to stay at the top. Do you believe Akshay can regain his supremacy at the box office, or does this mark the start of a protracted decline?
