After a hectic schedule with the rajasthan Royals in preparation for the indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, legendary indian cricketer and World Cup-winning head coach rahul dravid is presently taking some time off in his hometown of Bengaluru. However, after a busy cricket calendar, Dravid hasn't been enjoying a quiet stay in Bengaluru. On Tuesday, february 4, the localite was observed getting into a furious argument with an auto driver.

The event happened on Cunningham Road, which is close to the city's famed M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, where he is honored with a Wall of Excellence. Several witnesses who were there at the scene of the incident said that Dravid made an effort to maintain his composure, which is very consistent with how the public generally views him. The auto driver was observed employing an angry tone in his conversation with the Indore-born, who talked in a very soft-spoken manner, resulting in a chaotic scene on the crowded road.

Although it was difficult to hear the audio of the verbal confrontation between the two, witnesses claimed that Dravid clarified that the incident was not his fault since the driver had slammed the brakes suddenly, giving him little time to apply the handbrake. In Kannada, the auto-driver acknowledged that he was at fault, but Dravid had the opportunity to prevent the collision.

The witnesses also attested to the fact that Dravid was unable to stop his SUV in time owing to the abrupt braking of the driver transporting goods, resulting in a small collision without any serious injuries. Although no police report or formal complaint has been filed in relation to the situation as of yet, law enforcement may look into it further given how quickly the video went viral. We're waiting for more information.
