Did you know that, with the exception of Bangladesh, indians receive the lowest minimum statutory pay in the Asia-Pacific region and are among the most overworked workers in the world, according to a report released by the international Labour Organization (ILO)?
 
The average indian worker spends 422 minutes a day engaging in paid economic activities, per a report titled "Time Spent on Employment-Activities in India: A Note," which was prepared by Dr. Shammika Ravi. That's 42 hours a week, assuming there are six days in a week.
 
Furthermore, a number of indian states, like tamil Nadu and Maharashtra, are regarded as having the most diligent labor forces. Wondering? Let's begin!
 
In India, the average amount of time spent on "working," or paid economic activities, is 422 minutes a day. This is equivalent to 42.2 hours per week for a normal 6-day workweek.
 
Notably, states differ significantly from one another. More than ten hours a day, or 600 minutes, are worked in Union Territories like Daman & Diu and Dadra & nagar Haveli.
 
States like goa and the majority of the Northeastern area, on the other hand, record fewer than 360 minutes every day, or less than six hours. people in delhi work 8.3 hours a day on average, whereas those in goa and assam work 5.5 and 5.87 hours, respectively.

Delhi: 496 minutes/day
Chandigarh (UT): 486 minutes/day

Rajasthan: 453 minutes/day
Gujarat: 445 minutes/day

Delhi spends 515 minutes a day, or 60.08 hours a week, in the primary sector, making it the state that spends the most time in all three sectors.
 
Furthermore, daman and diu have worked in the secondary sector for 699 minutes a day, or 81.55 hours a week. Once more, daman and diu spend 615 minutes a day, or 71.75 hours a week, together.
