PM Modi told why it is important to be a thick-skinned person?Prime Minister Narendra Modi has recorded his first podcast. It has been broadcasted on Zerodha co-founder Nikhil Kamath's YouTube channel 'People by WTF'. In this podcast, the PM discussed his personal life, his journey from cm to PM, the challenges of public life and answered children's questions.During this, he told an anecdote and said that one should not think too much to be thick-skinned. The PM said, "Children ask me how it feels to see oneself on TV. Some even say that how do you deal with the abuses you receive. I tell them jokes, I am from ahmedabad and one of our specialties is that our jokes are very good."PM told this through a jokePM said, "I said that an Ahmedabadi was going on a scooter and narrowly escaped a fight with someone. The person in front got angry. They started arguing and he started abusing. But the Ahmedabadi stood quietly. Meanwhile, someone came and said what kind of a person are you, someone is abusing and you are just standing like this. The Ahmedabadi said that he is not taking anything, he is giving, isn't he? So I also thought then that okay, let those who are abusing, do it. But you should be on the ground of truth and there should be no sin in your heart." There are conflicts in every sector, no need to think about being thick-skinned: PMPM Modi said, "If someone is not in politics and works in an office, does it not happen there? If there is a big family and there is a fight between two brothers, does it happen there or not? It happens to a greater or lesser extent in every sphere of life. Therefore, one should not think of being very thick-skinned on that basis. One should be extremely sensitive. Without sensitivity in public life, you cannot do good to people. I believe that social media is a great strength of democracy. Earlier, only a few people used to serve you. You used to believe that to be the truth. Even then you used to get trapped. You had no option to find out the truth. If someone said that one lakh people died, you would believe him and die."
