Wearing masks is mandatory in Karnataka due to HMPV..!?
After two children in Bengaluru tested positive for HMPV, the state government has advised everyone in the state to wear masks. The public should avoid going to public places if they have symptoms of the disease; the state government has advised people to wear data-face masks in crowded areas to reduce the risk of transmission. In Bengaluru, an eight-month-old boy and a three-month-old girl have been confirmed to be infected with HMBV. This step has been taken in response to the confirmation of infection. It has also been revealed that the infected children have not traveled abroad. While urging people not to panic, the central government has said that HMPV is not a new virus and is already present globally and within the country. Out of the two children diagnosed with HMPV in Bengaluru, a three-month-old baby has already been discharged while an eight-month-old baby is recovering.
