CM Devendra Fadnavis' dream project is ready!

On this year, the fadnavis 3.0 government has given a gift to the people of Maharashtra. The last phase of the Samridhi Mahamarg, which transformed maharashtra, has also been completed. The 701 km long Samridhi Mahamarg is currently operational from nagpur to Igatpuri (625 km) while the last phase of 76 km between Igatpuri and mumbai is also now ready. With the completion of the expressway, the distance from mumbai to nagpur will now be 8 hours instead of 16 hours. chief minister devendra fadnavis can soon inaugurate the last phase.

Prime minister Narendra Modi had described the project as a game changer for social and economic development. chief minister fadnavis chose a very special civil engineer awarded with the "Best engineer Award" and "National Gaurav Award" to make the dream project a reality. Dr Anil Kumar Baliram Gaikwad, currently the Managing director of maharashtra State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC), was given the major responsibility of the project. Known for completing big projects within the stipulated time frame, Dr Gaikwad was making a significant contribution to the Samridhi Mahamarg project as the Chief engineer of the Road Development Corporation.

New Year's gift to the people

Given his grip and ability on the project, Gaikwad was given the post of Vice President and Managing director in the Road Development Corporation. Dr Gaikwad demonstrated extraordinary abilities from the beginning of his career. He oversaw the construction and maintenance of several major government buildings, national highways, coastal projects and urban infrastructure. His works also include major projects like the Bandra-Versova sea Link, thane Creek Bridge, and the Mumbai-Pune Expressway Missing Link Project, in which India's widest tunnel has been built.
