SIBY JEYYA
The execution of Malayali nurse Nimisha priya in connection with the murder of a Yemeni national has been authorized by the Yemeni president. Within a month, the execution might take place. Blood money was used to try to free Nimisha, but it was unsuccessful.

Nimisha priya was given a death sentence by the trial court in 2017 for the murder of Yemeni national Talal Abdu Mahdi. The only option to avoid the death penalty was to pay blood money, and Premakumari, the mother of Nimisha priya, even traveled to yemen to personally apologize to Talal's family. There were discussions with Talal's family, but they halted in the middle. yemen is still where Premakumari is.

Samuel Jerome, an expatriate social worker who oversees the Save Nimisha priya Action Council's operations, now houses Premakumari in Sanaa. Five months ago, Premakumari visited this place. Tommy Thomas, who lives in Thodupuzha, is married to Nimisha. She claims that Talal stole her passport after making false claims that he would help her open a clinic. Nmisha endured cruel torture at Talal's hands. She had struck him in vengeance. This has caused a concern for several indians who are working in Arab countries.
