Virgin Girls, Expensive Wines, Imported Meats, Etc., How North Korea Leader Gets Served On 'Special' Train

SIBY JEYYA
Kim Jong-un, the leader of North Korea, is well-known for his luxurious lifestyle and strange hobbies. His personal train, which is sometimes referred to as a moving fortress, is one such instance. This luxurious and highly secured train is a representation of Kim's love of extravagance.

It's interesting to note that a carefully chosen brigade of young women, known as cheerleaders, who are employed through specific recruiting drives, serve as hostesses on this train.

Kim Jong-un's Fear of Flying

Due to his phobia of flying, Kim Jong-un stays away from flying, just like his father, Kim Jong-il, and grandfather, Kim Il-sung. Rather, he travels both domestically and abroad on his heavily armored train. Because of its exceptional security measures, this train is regarded as impregnable and has been dubbed the "moving fortress."

Women Selection For Kim Jong-un train Journey

Kim Jong-un indulges in high-end wines, foreign meats, and premium cigars as part of his extravagant lifestyle. His train, which has cutting-edge facilities to guarantee optimal comfort, reflects this opulence. The Pleasure Brigade is a group of young, carefully chosen ladies who oversee the entertainment and hospitality on board.

Passengers are served and entertained by the hostesses in this brigade. These women were chosen by hand after a thorough campaign was conducted throughout North Korea. In order to make sure they fulfill certain conditions, such as being virgins, their hiring procedure involves a number of tests, including medical exams conducted by physicians. In exchange, they receive a respectable income of more than $3,000, which is substantial by North Korean standards.

Pleasure Brigade

The so-called Pleasure Brigade, a group of young ladies chosen for their attractiveness and charisma, is a notable aspect of the train. As hostesses and entertainers, their job is to make sure Kim is comfortable and has a good time while traveling. Western media have frequently called these women "sex slaves," although it's unclear exactly what their job is.

A Soviet gift To Kim Jong-un

North Korean officials have used the opulent train as their main means of transportation ever since Soviet leader Joseph stalin gave it to the Kim family. The train's outside is painted green and yellow, while its inside is white. It has briefing rooms with flat-screen displays and tables.

Kim Jong-un Royal Train

In his book Orient Express, Russian ambassador Konstantin Pulikovsky detailed his experiences traveling aboard Kim Jong-il's train. He added that a range of fine foods, such as pork, shrimp, and French wines, were offered aboard. Under Kim Jong-un, this custom is still followed, making every trip a royal event.

Kim Jong-un's train has unmatched security. Because of its thick armored plate, the train moves at a moderate 40–50 km/h (maximum 60 km/h) pace. The three high-security trains that run alongside it—one in front to scout, one in rear for backup, and one transporting critical personnel—are further precautions. Other trains on the route are halted until Kim's train passes to guarantee a smooth trip.

Before the train arrives, over 100 security personnel are also sent out to check and safeguard each stop. The train is accompanied on its journey by Mi-17 helicopters and air Force freight planes for enhanced protection.

A train with 90 Carriages
According to reports, the train has 90 carriages, which can accommodate a variety of purposes, including carrying Kim's expensive Mercedes vehicles. Similar actions were conducted in his father's day, which is when this tradition began.
