In the meeting, the power-sharing formula and the ministerial posts and departments to be given to each party were to be formalized, but Shinde did not come to Delhi.

shiv sena sources said that bjp is refusing to give the home Ministry to Shinde. It is also not agreeing to the Revenue, industry and Housing departments demanded by the party in the new government. Apart from this, ncp is claiming the housing department, which was with bjp in the previous government. Shinde is also angry with this. shiv sena believes that after Shinde left the post of chief minister, it has a fair claim on revenue and urban development, which bjp is not ready to give up. Meanwhile, ajit pawar met home minister amit shah in delhi on thursday (December 12). It is believed that he has clarified his position regarding the ministry. On the other hand, devendra fadnavis had a formal meeting with prime minister Narendra Modi.

How many ministers from whose quota?

Sources said that the cabinet expansion is likely to take place on december 16. 20 leaders can become ministers from BJP's quota. At the same time, 12 leaders will become ministers from shiv sena and 10 from NCP. 43 ministers can be made in the state including the Chief Minister. devendra fadnavis took oath on december 5 along with Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar. Then devendra fadnavis had said that the cabinet expansion will be done soon.
