A tragic incident unfolded last evening at the renowned tourist destination of Murdeshwar beach, where four schoolgirls aged 15 and 16 drowned in the Sea. The body of one girl has been recovered, while the search for three others continues. Three additional girls were rescued and rushed to a nearby private hospital in critical condition. 54 schoolgirls studying in a famous school in Kolar district went on a school trip. As part of it, they went to the Murudeshwar temple beach to spend time. 7 of them had gone down to the beach to bathe together. Then they were unexpectedly dragged by the sea waves. Seeing the students who raised the alarm, the teachers jumped into the sea and tried to save them.
