Former karnataka cm SM krishan passed away...
Former karnataka chief minister, Former Union minister, and above all, a visionary in karnataka and a leader who played a key role in taking the state to another level, SM Krishna, has passed away. At the age of 92, he breathed his last in Sadashivnagar, Bengaluru, in the early hours of today (Tuesday). SM Krishna, who was known as a senior congress leader, held several key positions. He served as the chief minister of karnataka between 2004-2009. During that time, he played a key role in transforming Bengaluru into an IT city. In fact, SM krishna played a key role in transforming Bengaluru into an IT city, which is known as the Garden City. At one stage, when karnataka was leading the southern states in terms of IT, a united andhra pradesh was in that race.
However, SM Krishna, who was forward-thinking, prepared plans to transform Bengaluru into an IT city, using his influence and positive factors such as the congress government being in power at the Center at that time. As a Union minister, chief minister, and taking up other key positions, it must be said that he has done a lot for his own state with his influence. He took charge as the governor of maharashtra from december 2004 to march 2008. He served as the minister of External Affairs between 2009-2012. No matter what position he held, he always had a desire to do something for his home state, Karnataka. It must be said that SM krishna acted a little differently from the rest of the leaders in this regard. After being in the congress party for almost 50 years, he joined the bjp in 2017. However, last year he announced his retirement from politics. Last year, the central government honored him with the Padma Vibhushan award. However, history has never forgotten his role in the development of karnataka, especially in making the city of Bengaluru a key player in the global IT sector.
