Islamist mob attacks Hindus in Navsari, Gujarat
The Islamist crowd allegedly broke into the Hindu regions after causing a commotion about parking, assaulted even the women, threatened to murder them, and ejected them from the area. The police have begun a preliminary inquiry into this case after receiving a complaint at the Navsari Town police Station.
One of the attack's victims, Chandan Rathod, told OpIndia that the event happened on saturday night, december 7. He said that a local Muslim youngster and he got into a fight about parking. Many Muslims from the area then showed up at the scene with sticks and sticks. A group of between 100 and 150 Muslims are accused of abusing the ladies and threatening to murder them.
“Go away, infidels, this is our territory.”
The victim claims that many Muslims reside on Dargah Road and congregate there right away. He said that the ladies were mistreated and beaten by the Islamist crowd, who yelled, "This is our territory, infidels, get out of here." This is only the start. In addition, the crowd is accused of threatening the Hindu ladies by stating, "We will strip them and kill them." The complaint claims that caste-based insults were also employed.
'You people are doing s*x, you people are #$@, go away from here,' the crowd allegedly screamed, threatening and abusing the Hindu ladies. The women were reportedly beaten by the assembled crowd as well. The complainant claims that the women demanded action from the Navsari Town police station following the event. In the lawsuit, the women also included the names of a few Muslim men. OpIndia has a copy of the complaint on file.
Ajaz Sheikh, Shoaib Sheikh, Sufyan Salim, Rafiq Patel's son, and Shahnawaz bhandari (the primary accused) are named in the petition. Under their direction, between 100 and 150 Muslims are said to have assembled. The issue is presently being looked into by the Navsari Town Police.
OpIndia was informed by a local police station official that action will be done in this case. But as of yet, no FIR has been filed. Hindu community members are still awaiting the registration of the FIR. Following the event, Hindu organizations have also expressed their displeasure and called for the culprits to data-face the worst punishment possible.
