A piece of rubber slipped out of one monkey's hand and landed on the overhead wires below during a fight between two monkeys over a banana. Sparks flew from the wires as a result of the accident, causing a short circuit.
The Railway Protection Force (RPF) promptly notified the control room after obtaining the information. train movements were momentarily interrupted when the electrical feed to the overhead wires was cut off to prevent more harm or hazard.

After the electrical flow was restored, train services resumed at roughly 9:30 am. The Overhead Equipment (OHE) crew quickly arrived on the spot to fix the wires. For almost half an hour, lines 4 through 14's electricity supply was disrupted.

Passengers avoided the impacted area thanks to the management of the site by RPF Inspector Ved Prakash Verma, PK Chaudhary, and his crew.
