Actor allu arjun shared a touching video on social media, expressing his condolences for the tragic incident that took place at the sandhya Theater, where the first special screening of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' was screened on december 4. A woman named revathi (39), a huge fan of allu arjun, died in the stampede at the theatre. Her nine-year-old son Sri Tej is in the hospital with injuries after being crushed in the stampede.
"It was very sad to hear that a woman named revathi died due to injuries. Going to the theatre and watching movies is everyone's favorite thing to do. But this incident has broken our hearts," he said. Underlining the importance of safety, Allu asked his fans to be cautious while attending the film screening. "My only request to all the fans is to be cautious while watching movies. Please be careful. "Watch the film and make sure you return home safely," he urged. The special screening of pushpa 2 was held on december 4 at 9:30 pm in select theatres in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Bengaluru. The tragedy occurred when allu arjun and his family were at the sandhya Theatre when the stampede occurred. revathi and her children fainted. revathi died on the way to the hospital. Sri Tej is undergoing treatment at kims hospital in Begumpet in a critical condition.
