The new government will be sworn in at azad Maidan in Mumbai. Along with fadnavis, ajit pawar and Eknath Shinde can take oath as Deputy CM. Other ministers will be sworn in later. The bjp leader claimed that the Council of Ministers will be sworn in before the winter session of the assembly begins, so that administrative disruption can be avoided. bjp won 132 seats in the 288-member maharashtra assembly elections. The BJP-led Mahayuti alliance, along with shiv sena and NCP, has 230 seats in the Assembly.
