As per report after the election results in favour of Mahayuti in maharashtra, the process of forming the government is moving forward slowly. Meanwhile, former deputy cm of the state devendra fadnavis has reacted to Eknath Shinde's announcement regarding the cm post. He said that Shinde has cleared the doubts of the people. While talking to the media in Nagpur, devendra fadnavis claimed, "There has never been any difference of opinion among anyone in our Mahayuti. Soon we will take our decision. We have always taken decisions by sitting together. Everyone had different opinions about Eknath Shinde ji, today he himself has cleared that doubt."

What did Eknath Shinde say about the cm post?

shiv sena chief and former state cm Eknath Shinde on wednesday (November 27) surrendered in a way and said that he will accept whatever decision the ruling party at the center takes regarding his successor. Shinde made it clear that he has assured prime minister Narendra Modi that as the new chief minister of the state, he will support every decision of the top leadership of bjp and there will be no hindrance in this process.

Shinde also dismissed reports that he is disappointed at not being made the chief minister again despite the ruling Mahayuti alliance winning a landslide victory under his leadership. Leaders of other parties including Congress, which are constituents of the Mahavikas Aghadi, have taunted Eknath Shinde over the CM's chair.

Who got how many seats in the Mahayuti?

In the recent elections in maharashtra, the Mahayuti alliance has made a strong comeback by winning 230 out of 288 seats. Recovering from the defeat in the lok sabha elections, bjp won 132 seats. bjp emerged as the largest party in the state. Eknath Shinde's shiv sena and Ajit Pawar's ncp also performed well. Shinde faction won 57 seats and ajit pawar faction won 41 seats. A figure of 145 is required for majority in maharashtra Assembly.
