In view of this, shiv sena has taken a big decision. According to the information, all the shiv sena MLAs of Shinde faction will stay at Taj Lands End Hotel in Bandra. Everyone has been instructed to stay in the hotel till the oath ceremony. The process of choosing the party leader will also be held in the hotel itself.

cm Eknath Shinde's party shiv sena has performed brilliantly in the maharashtra assembly elections. shiv sena has won 54 assembly seats so far and is leading on 3 seats. maharashtra chief minister Eknath Shinde won the Kopri-Pachpakhadi assembly seat in thane on saturday (23 November) by a margin of 1.2 lakh votes.

Eknath Shinde defeats Kedar Dighe

Eknath Shinde is considered to have a lot of influence in his home constituency thane, adjacent to Mumbai. The shiv sena chief got a total of 1 lakh 59 thousand 60 votes, which is 78.4 percent of the total votes cast. Shinde's closest rival shiv sena (UBT) candidate Kedar Dighe got 38,343 votes. Kedar Dighe is the nephew of Shinde's political guru late anand Dighe. In the 2019 assembly elections, Eknath Shinde defeated congress candidate Sanjay Ghadigaonkar by more than 89,000 votes. Shinde led a rebellion against the then shiv sena chief uddhav thackeray in 2022. After this, there was a split in Bal Thackeray's established party. Shinde changed his path and became the chief minister of the state by joining hands with BJP. After this split in shiv sena, the Shinde faction got the party name and its election symbol 'bow and arrow'.

Eknath Shinde's party shiv sena had fielded 81 candidates in this election. The party achieved spectacular success on 57 seats. Let us tell you that voting for all 288 assembly seats of maharashtra was held in a single phase on 20 November.
