'They are still married', lawyer reveals on AR Rahman-Saira Banu's divorce, clarifies on hashtag issue
AR Rahman-Saira Banu Divorce: After the news of AR rahman and saira Banu's separation came out, their lawyer has given the reason for it.
Vandana told ABP news that the two have not divorced yet and both have decided to separate from each other due to not being able to resolve their differences. She said- 'First of all, let me make it clear that divorce has not happened yet. They are still married. We had issued a joint statement that things are not going well and a gap has come between the two which they are not able to cross. That is why they have to end their marriage. We have not said anywhere that divorce has happened or we have started the process.

On questions raised on AR rahman using hashtag #arsairabreakup under his social media post regarding his separation from wife saira Banu, lawyer Vandana Shah said- 'Kuch toh log kahenge, logon ka kaam hai kehna, secondly ignore the trollers. rahman had written a very beautiful post. Reports of mohini Dey and Rahman's connection termed baseless
After the announcement of AR Rahman's separation, bassist mohini Dey of his musical troupe posted about her separation from her husband within a few hours, due to which the two are being linked, in such a situation Vandana also denied any kind of relationship between the two and called the speculations of the people baseless. She also talked about taking care of the privacy of both the parties.
