Tilak Verma scored two centuries in the last two matches of the series. Because of that, he was awarded the Man of the Series award. However, some fans and critics are pointing out on social media that varun Chakravarthy, who took wickets in all four matches, should have been given the Man of the Series award. Tilak Verma scored 33 and 20 runs in the first two matches of this series. He scored 107 and 120 not out in the last two matches. He scored a total of 280 runs. His average was 140 as he remained unbeaten in two matches.

Some are also saying that sanju samson who scored two centuries in this series should have been awarded the man of the series award. But, sanju samson scored two hundreds in this series while also getting two duck outs.
