Samantha Says "South Films Are NOT GREAT.."
Samantha stated in an interview with business Today, "I haven't considered why it took so long. However, I believe that while South indians may be excellent filmmakers, they may struggle with marketing. That may have been one of the causes, in my opinion. "With Baahubali, rajamouli Sir really opened up (more avenues for South indian films)," she continued. He likely was the first to think, "Let's see, I think this film has wings." He truly opened the gates, therefore I'm quite happy he had that notion.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu stated in the same interview that she is attempting to choose her parts carefully and is searching for characters that fairly represent women in contemporary culture. She lauded her part as Honey bunny in Citadel and stated that she is avoiding flower-pot roles.
"I'm throwing and taking equal punches, saving the day as much as the hero, and being given an absolutely level playing field in an action genre, which is rarely the case," samantha continued. We are anticipating, and that is crucial. Having said that, the number of projects I am working on and the number of jobs I am given have diverged greatly as a result of my deliberate choice to avoid flower-pot roles."
