BCCI decides to drop 4 senior players from
indian team..!?
The
bcci has sanctioned the removal of the four senior players. Rohit Sharma,
virat kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, and
ravindra jadeja from the
indian team. It has been reported that the top
bcci officials have decided that if the
indian team does not advance to the final of the 2025 World Test
championship series for the third time, then the future of these four will be over. In the three-match Test series against the
new zealand team, the
indian team has lost on
indian soil. Moreover, the
indian team has lost in all three matches, and for the first time in the
history of
indian cricket, they have lost the Test series against the
new zealand team at home, and they are facing a whitewash defeat in the three-match Test series.
At this stage, if we want to progress to the final of the 2025 World Test
championship, we will have to do something very difficult.
india will next play a five-match Test series against Australia. It will be India's last series in the 2025 World Test Championship.
india can qualify for the 2025 World Test
championship final only if they win four matches and draw one match in this series. There is talk in
bcci circles that the future of almost four senior players is over as it is a very difficult matter.
Out of the four,
virat kohli will be the most difficult one to drop from the team. Because he is now 35 years old. It will not be an easy task to remove him from the team as he has achieved various feats as the leading batsman in the world. However, if the
indian team does not advance to the final of the World Test
championship, Rohit Sharma,
virat kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, and
ravindra jadeja will definitely not feature in the
indian team during the Test series against
england in
june next year.
