Veteran leader of the state and former minister nawab malik has announced to contest the maharashtra assembly elections. Talking to ABP News, nawab malik said that he will contest from Mankhurd-Shivaji Nagar.

When nawab malik was asked whether he will contest on Ajit Pawar's party symbol or as an independent, nawab malik said that the picture will be clear on october 29 (the day of filing nomination). Currently, Samajwadi party state president Abu Azmi is an MLA.

Let us tell you that nawab malik is currently an mla from Anushakti Nagar, from where this time the ncp ajit pawar faction has fielded his daughter sana Malik. On saturday (26 October) at 7.30 pm, ncp leaders praful patel and Chhagan Bhujbal met nawab malik along with deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar. However, on what was discussed between the four leaders, nawab malik said that all political matters are not disclosed. The picture will be clear on 29 October.
