We were offered one seat - AAP

On AAP's announcement of not contesting elections in maharashtra, delhi government minister and senior AAP leader Saurabh Bhardwaj said, "It is the greatness of both our alliance partners sharad pawar and uddhav thackeray that they had offered us one seat in maharashtra while fulfilling the dharma of the alliance. But aam aadmi party is not a party that contests elections just for the sake of contesting elections or asks for seats for its ego. We feel that the party contests elections where we can do well and where we feel that we can play an important role in defeating BJP." He further said, "We believe that our alliance partners can fight good elections in Maharashtra. Their contesting elections can harm BJP. That is why we have said that we will campaign for them but we will not contest elections."
