Bagmati Express Train Accident linked to Odisha signal error..!?
It has been reported that the reason for the train accident in Thiruvallur, Kawaripettai is the same signal fault as in the odisha train accident. An express train met with an accident last night at Kavarippet, Tiruvallur district. The Bagmati Express was traveling from mysore in karnataka to Darbang in Bihar. The train passing through Jollarpet, Arakkonam, Perambur, and Kummidipoondi met with an accident when it was passing near Kawaripet in Tiruvallur district. Some coaches of the Bagmati Express burst into flames after colliding with a previously stationary freight train at breakneck speed. All other boxes were derailed. Although more than 500 passengers were involved in the accident, there were no casualties.
How did the accident happen?
The Bagmati Express train accident is said to be due to a wrong signal. The worst train accident in odisha was also caused by an incorrect signal. Similarly Baghmati Express also traveled on a reserve track due to the wrong signal given by the goods train. As a result, the express collided with the stationary freight train at a speed of about 100 kmph and caused an accident. Trains have been temporarily suspended following the accident. Also, Southern Railway has started an inquiry into the accident.
