Will Tollywood Unite for Samantha? Posting on Social Media is no use!

G GOWTHAM
In the ongoing situation involving Konda surekha and samantha, the tollywood film industry has shown support, with megastar chiranjeevi publicly declaring his opposition to the malicious attacks. He, along with victory venkatesh and Mega power star Ram Charan, has expressed solidarity with samantha and the Akkineni family, condemning the use of personal matters for political gain through social media posts and public statements.
While this show of support is commendable, it raises the question: what comes next? Merely posting on social media and expressing sympathy is insufficient. This issue extends beyond Samantha; if the tollywood film industry does not take further action, the cycle of attacks could continue, with another hero or heroine becoming the next target. Past incidents have already seen outrageous comments directed at the Mega and Nandamuri families.
To genuinely unite against such behavior, the entire industry should come together and meet with the chief minister to demand accountability from the relevant ministers. A form of protest should be organized until tangible measures are implemented. Moreover, other heroes in the industry should join forces to ensure that this stance is not only about samantha but also about safeguarding the reputation and well-being of all actors.
The telugu film industry needs to be seen as a safe environment for aspiring actresses. industry leaders have consistently engaged with the governments of the two telugu states to foster positive change, and if they collectively demand government action on these issues, it could lead to meaningful justice. The question remains: will tollywood heroes rise to this challenge and advocate for their peers, or will they remain passive?
