After Samantha, Rakul Preet Singh name Dragged by Konda Surekha
Telangana minister Konda surekha came under fire from actor rakul preet singh for allegedly using her name in a speech. rakul preet singh urged the congress leader to refrain from using her name to obtain “political mileage.” rakul posted a lengthy message on the social networking site X on Thursday. She expressed how hurtful it is to hear "baseless and vicious rumors" about women in her fraternity being shared.
The Yaariyan actress said that what is even more "disheartening" about the comments is that they came from a different lady in a position of authority. This comes after telangana minister K surekha connected former minister and BRS leader ktr to the divorce of samantha Ruth Prabhu and naga Chaitanya, accusing ktr of monitoring the phones of stars and blackmailing them. She said that ktr was blackmailing female performers, participating in drug-related events, and listening in on people's phones. surekha also discussed rakul Preet's marriage in her remarks.
"Telugu film industry is known worldwide for its creativity and professionalism. I've had a great journey in this beautiful industry and still very much connected. It pains to hear such baseless and vicious rumours being spread about the women of this fraternity. What's more disheartening is the fact that this is being done by another woman who's supposedly in a very responsible position. For the sake of dignity, we choose to remain silent but it is misconstrued as our weakness," rakul Preet stated in her post.
"I am absolutely apolitical and have nothing to do with any person/political party, whatsoever. I urge to stop using my name in a malicious way to gain political mileage. Artists and creative personalities should be kept out of political slug fest and their names should not be used to grab headlines by linking them with fictitious stories," the note further stated.
