Although Chandoo Mondeti's film Thandel, starring naga chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is based on true events, the emotions and situations between the two lovers are reportedly more intense than in even the most suspenseful fictitious stories.

The rustic environment of the film would draw attention to srikakulam culture. They recorded a song against the backdrop of Sri Mukhalingam temple in order to highlight the culture. It's claimed that this song, which features thousands of dancers and naga chaitanya, would transport listeners on a spiritual trip. The working stills feature Sai Pallavi, naga chaitanya, and a group of people celebrating Shivaratri in front of the temple set, with naga chaitanya in the famous shiva Thandavam position.

A lovely song composed by devi sri prasad beautifully captures the spirit of Shivaratri. The choreographer for the dance is sekhar Master. A 4 Cr budget was used to film it. Presenting the film is Allu Aravind, with bunny vas producing under the geetha arts brand.

In the publicized images, chaitanya and Sai are beautifully decked out in traditional garb, around by dancers in matching outfits, some of whom are enacting the formidable Goddess Kali. The imposing background is created by a massive shiva statue. The film's crew claims that devi sri prasad wrote the song and that the legendary sekhar master choreographed the spectacular dance, which featured an astounding 1,000 dancers.
